Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this incredible event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has raised $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The sweet motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and participating in incredible events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
